HOW TO DO KIRUV via Giving Out CDs (3 minutes)
Giving out CDs is one of the most effective ways to do KIRUV if its done right. First a person needs to know that you don’t want to leave huge piles in one spot. The ideal way to do it is by putting 10 -20 CDs per location, and then check back a week or two later to see if it needs to be refilled.
The ideal locations are Kosher Stores, Kosher Markets, Jewish Centers, Orthodox Syngogues, Kollel and Beit HaMidrash. Please make sure that the place allows you to put the CDs there and do not just drop them off, because some places may simply throw them out. Of course you can always carry 10 or so with you to give to people you meet, but the ideal situation is to put them out there in the different locations as soon as possible.
Always remember that people do not do TeShuva if the CDs are still in the box, and not giving them out may hold back a person from doing TeShuva.
NOTE: In regards to people that do not have a CD player in their car, YOU SHOULD STILL ENCOURAGE THEM TO TAKE THE CD. This CD can either be put it in their computer, or they can use it as a REMINDER to check out the lectures on our website and youtube channel. It serves as a Valuable Flyer, which is perfect.
Hatzlacha Rabbah and May HaShem continue to bless you.
